Project Need: The existing waterlines in the Minihdoka/Koda Trail areas are leaking and showing signs of failure.
Project Description: Replace approximately 3,500 lineal feet of failing steel and asbestos cement pipe. A new 8 inch main line feed will extend from Dartford Road along Minihdoka Trail with a Pressure Reducing Valve Vault at the intersection with Koda. A 4 inch main will extend along Koda Ct while a 6 inch main will extend along Koda Trail.
Expected Outcomes: Improved water service reliability and fire flow.
Current Status: Design and bidding are complete, and a construction contract has been awarded to Inland Infrastructure.
Anticipated Schedule: Inland Infrastructure plans to construct the project from July 2026 – October 2026. Waiting for a July start helps reduce impacts related to seasonal groundwater in the area.
